69ers Claim 2011 ABA Trophy | Jan 3, 2011
Congratulations to the San Francisco 69ers for claiming the 2011 ABA Championship. The 69ers rode strong pitching to beat the Noodlers 4 games to 2 and hoist their 2nd ABA trophy --- 19 years after winning the inaugural ABA title in 1992. SP Tim Hudson was awarded the championship MVP after going 2-0 with a 1.06 ERA. You can find all the action in the 2011 playoff recap.
Whackers Migrate to Motor City | Jan 3, 2011
In a short press conference this afternoon, GM Jason Dyniewski announced that the Whackers franchise is making the move to the Motor City. Starting in the 2012 ABA season, the Motor City Whackers will play their home games in Comerica Park. Read more

A new look is being rolled out on the individual franchise pages in 2012. The new format will showcase helpful information about each active franchise including owner, corporate office, stadium, history and current balance data. The new format is now available for all of the 2012 franchises. You may visit the franchise pages by clicking on any team name from the division standings in the right-hand column.

An updated results file is available for download. This file contains the final results for Period 6 as well as complete standings for the 2011 regular season. Congratulations to the Camden Crazies, Sugar Land Express, San Francisco 69ers and Mississippi Noodlers on advancing to the 2011 post-season. More playoff news is forthcoming.
